Burj Khalifa interactive floor
An experience that responds to every step
DigiComm’s interactive glass-cracking floor at the Burj Khalifa observation deck turns visitors’ movement into a visual response: the glass appears to crack and shatter as people walk across it.
What we delivered
This is an interactive visual experience in a physical visitor environment. The creative effect and the visitor’s movement work together; the apparent cracking is a digital effect.
The visitor experience
Visitors trigger the experience by stepping into the interaction area. The project film shows how a familiar action becomes an unexpected moment inside the observation deck.
